After activating the Login Dongle plugin, all users must go on their profile pages and generate their own login bookmarklets and add them to their browser bookmarks toolbar.

Next time they will visit the login page, they will need to fill in the normal login form, press the bookmarklet, answer the secret response to the challenge and accept to authenticate.

If this step is not respected, the normal login mechanism will fail every time.

Login Dongle improves the login mechanism on WordPress sites with an extra security level, making it practically impossible for other users except those holding the unique bookmarklet to authenticate on the site.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
